At Zion Lutheran Church, we believe, teach, and confess Holy Scripture to be the only rule, source, and norm for the Christian Faith. We subscribe unconditionally to the Lutheran Confessions contained in the 1580 Book of Concord because they put forth a correct and thorough exposition of God’s Holy Word. Everything we therefore confess is merely what God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — has taught through His Scriptures, the very center and purpose of which is Christ Crucified for sinners. As sinners, we regularly gather around the preached Word of Christ and His Holy Sacraments to receive forgiveness, life, and salvation, and be sustained in the love of Christ for the sake of our neighbor. Please contact us if you have questions about what we confess as Lutherans.
