Lutheran Resources

If you would like to find out more about the Lutheran Church and its beliefs or would like resources to help you with daily living or improve your devotional life, here are some resources you may find helpful:

The Confessions

The Book of Concord. This is the definitive resource on what Lutherans believe. It includes the three ecumenical creeds (the Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds), Martin Luther’s Small and Large Catechisms, the Lutheran Confessions of faith (Augsburg, Smalcald Articles, Formula of Concord, Treatise on the Primacy of the Pope), and the defenses of those Confessions (the apology of the Augsburg Confession and the Thorough Declaration of the Formula of Concord)
