Our Pastor

Zion-Pastor-Anthony

Pastor Anthony Voltattorni has been serving Zion Lutheran Church since his installation on February 10, 2013. He grew up in Novi, Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University in 2003 with a B.S. in electrical engineering. After working for just over a year for the Ford Motor Company, his home church persuaded him to enter the ministry, and he began studying at Concordia Seminary--St. Louis in 2004, graduating with his Master of Divinity degree in 2008.

At the request of the seminary, he stayed to continue graduate work in Old Testament Exegesis but decided in 2009 to defer his studies and take a call to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Standish, Michigan. He remained there until he accepted the call to Zion in Marshall.

Pastor Voltattorni and his wife Sarah, whom he met at church in 1996, have been married since 2002. They live in Marshall with their seven children, Isabella, Eden, Malachi, Martin, Evelyn, Edmond, and Caroline. Pastor Voltattorni's sermons and Bible classes can be found on the SERMONS & BIBLE STUDIES page.
